The ladder is manufactured and certified to comply with the European standard and with the ČSN-F4047 and EN 1147 standard.
European Standard CSN-F4047 specifies the requirements, test methods and criteria for testing self-locking nuts, with MJ thread, made of heat-resistant nickel alloy NI-PH2601 (Inconel 718), silver plated - Grade: 1550 MPa (at ambient temperature) / 600 °C - Technical Specification (Standard for direct use as a CSN).
European Standard EN 1147 specifies requirements, test methods and performance criteria for portable ladders for use by fire and rescue services and similar purposes. The tests specified in this European Standard are type tests, not periodic tests. Non-portable ladders for use by fire and rescue services are not covered by this standard.
The hook ladder is unique in its design. It combines a support ladder and is supplied with a handy hook which is made of galvanised steel material. The principle is to hook the ladder on the window frame or ledge and then attach it to the building wall. You can choose from two different hook shapes, both of which are equipped with window spikes (a practical addition for discharging the window glass, for a more secure hooking of the ladder) and a welded ring/hook for attaching a carabiner with a rope (a safety feature to provide greater protection for both firefighters and rescuers and for potential rescues)
It has the practical ability to be used as a support ladder. The ladder is equipped with a folding spacer anchored on the sides on the side supports. This support bracket is used to keep the ladder away from the wall. This system has a simple and practical use, when a firefighter or rescuer climbs the ladder it keeps the space around the rungs clear, making it easier/quicker to use the ladder and the rescue operation.
The quality of the material and workmanship of the ladder will exceed your expectations. The entire ladder is made of high quality alloy aluminium (aluminium with various admixtures to achieve the required mechanical properties) from a specially designed double-sided welded design. The reinforced square rungs, up to 25mm thick, have an embossed design on them with anti-slip properties for even greater safety, stability and comfortable climbing, or to facilitate any standing on the ladder when working at any height, and are welded into the milled beams to ensure a secure hold. The width of the entire ladder is also adapted for comfortable standing, up to 300 mm (312 mm even with steel hook). Not a single detail or defect can be overlooked in the manufacture of the ladder.
The rungs are welded to the beams using the CMT technique - a cold welding process to achieve the highest possible quality. Compared to conventional welding, CMT works with very little heat input and an extremely stable arc.
By using high quality alloy aluminium material and careful processing/welding of the complete ladder structure, considerable resistance to weather conditions has been achieved. Due to the material properties, the ladder cannot rust even if it is left standing in direct rain or exposed to other water elements for long periods of time. There is thus no risk of damage or wear and tear.
