The CSA-DUAL detector is suitable for less controllable areas such as public toilets, cubicles, changing rooms, discreet areas, employee areas or public buildings where violations of the prohibition on handling fire or smoking tobacco products may be more frequent.
Motion detection in two directions. With SpeechPOD PIR motion sensor technology, it can trigger a preset voice message if motion is detected in one direction. When motion is detected in the opposite direction, it will play a different voice message designed for a different direction of motion. This can prevent, for example, the risk of slipping on a wet floor, tripping over an obstacle or falling, in two different directions with different voice tracks. The SmartWave© voice message playback software allows a choice of 100 voice messages, setting the time interval, volume and number of replays. Sensor sensitivity can be adjusted from up to five sensitivity modes.
It is powered by an external CSA-006 power module or by 4 AA alkaline batteries. A Fault - Battery is Low" voice message warns of low power and imminent battery discharge.
The device can be installed stand-alone or can be wired to other devices such as smoke and flame detectors, PIR motion detectors, optical voice detectors or control panels.

Because the CAS-DUAL is suitable for locations where violations are more common, we recommend securing the detector with the CSA-AVC3 steel anti-vandal cover. It will prevent mechanical damage or theft of the detector.
For more convenient operation of a single detector or a whole system consisting of several RADAL Cig-Arrete detectors, it is possible to use the wireless remote control CSA-IR2 (not included).
