Fire and smoke detector SAFE 10Y30 - PRO

The detector is powered by a lithium battery, which is built-in and cannot be replaced. The battery is of very high quality and will last for more than 10 years, and its warranty is also 10 years (this warranty also applies to the device itself). This detector represents a new level in residential security.

For SIC remote alarm silencing, the detector is equipped with an IR remote control. The stand-alone fire and smoke detector meets all standards of ČSN EN 14604:2009 for installation according to Decree 268/2011 Coll. (formerly No. 23/2008 Coll.) on technical conditions of fire protection.

The SAFE 10Y30 BASIC fire and smoke detector is manufactured in a timeless modern design and features the latest hardware and software technology. These technologies are applied to the detector's design.

What technology does the fire and smoke detector have?

The AI SAFE microprocessor built into the chamber design is the most reliable detection method, which combined with a prediction algorithm measures the concentration of microparticles directly in the air and in real time. Using this unique technology, it determines the size of the volatile particles inside the optical chamber and can thus respond only to the real threat of smoke, ignoring the similar composition of water vapour or other fumes.

How does the fire and smoke detector evaluate the triggering of a fire alarm?

If the detector detects data corresponding to liquid water vapor particles or other types of vapor, the detector will not respond. However, if the detector measures smoke particulates, an 85 dB fire alarm will immediately sound. This signal is accompanied by a flashing red LED indicator.

What is the function of the TEST and SILENCE buttons?

The TEST and SILENCE buttons are used to test and verify the correct operation of the device and to silence the alarm remotely. If an alarm is triggered, the cause of which you know, it is no longer necessary to reach the shutdown button located on the device, but it can be conveniently switched off using the button on a standard IR remote control (TV remote control, etc.).

How does the innovative dual-spectrum optical chamber sensing technology work?

The detector's electronic components and circuit board are coated with an insulating and protective layer of IZOVAX nanoparticle paint and, thanks to the innovative technology of the dual-spectrum optical sensing chamber, which can distinguish smoke particles from water vapour, the device can be installed in very humid environments (near bathrooms, drying rooms, kitchens or technical rooms), unlike conventional fire detectors.

What is the operational performance of the fire detector?

The power supply is provided by an integrated 3 V lithium battery, which guarantees extremely long operation of the detector for more than 10 years. The battery operation allows for quick and easy installation and ensures proper functioning of the smoke and fire detector for more than 10 years after activation. Activation of the power battery occurs after the detector is placed and secured in the mounting bracket. After 10 years of protection and with 30 days notice, the detector will notify you of the end of life and automatically alert you that it needs to be replaced. The extended 10-year warranty covers both the battery and the device itself.

Pursuant to the Building Act No. 284/2021 Coll. and Decree No. 268/2011 Coll. (formerly No. 23/2008 Coll.) on technical conditions for fire protection of buildings, the building must be equipped with an autonomous detection and signalling system in the form of a fire detector meeting the standards of ČSN EN 14604:2009. The above-mentioned compliance with the technical parameters must be declared by means of documentation for the fire detector as a construction product in accordance with Regulation (EU) No 305/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council in the approved form "Declaration of Performance".

Where to install the fire and smoke detector?

At least one detector should be installed on each floor of the house, as well as outside each sleeping area or in the immediate vicinity of bedrooms. A working fire detector provides immediate warning of smoke or fire in the house, doubling the chance of survival for everyone in the house.
