Basic description

High-quality aluminium ladder suitable as part of firefighting equipment, directly from the manufacturer and leader in firefighting ladders - JUST Leitern AG. For more than 130 years they have been manufacturing these special ladders in accordance with the European standard, but also meeting other national (German or British) standards. A manufacturer and supplier that continuously promotes new product developments in order to optimize them for all kinds of rescue operations.

All this is personified by this foldable multifunctional and extendable ladder with a lightweight construction. It will not get lost in the work of professionals. A maximum safe load, to comply with standards, of up to 2 persons is possible.

Certification

The ladder is manufactured and certified to meet European and Austrian standards and the standard ČSN EN 1147 with the extension of ČSN EN 4047.

European standard EN 1147 specifies the requirements, test methods and design criteria for portable ladders for use by fire and rescue units and for similar purposes. The tests specified in this European Standard are type tests, not periodic tests. Non-portable ladders for use by fire and rescue services are not covered by this standard.

European Standard CSN-F4047 specifies the requirements, test methods and criteria for testing self-locking nuts, MJ threaded, of refractory nickel alloy NI-PH2601 (Inconel 718), silver plated - Grade: 1550 MPa (at ambient temperature) / 600 °C - Technical specification (Standard for direct use as a CSN).

Advantages of the multifunction ladder

The multi-functional/combinable ladder is typical of its unique design for a variety of applications. It combines both a support ladder and a freestanding ladder (it is necessary to use a connecting platform to connect the 2 base parts or 1 base and 1 connecting part in the top part to copy the A-shape). But it can also be used thanks to its extension capability. In combination with the roof hook it will take the place of a roof ladder, a temporary light pillar, an emergency bridge or a hose line/hose bridge. It is ideal for emergency vehicles with limited space capacity. It has the exceptional ability to be built up from multiple parts to achieve the desired height. To secure the position during height staggering, manually lockable steel safety couplings/anchors are used. They ensure that the individual parts remain connected during use. They are manufactured in an extremely strong design. This ensures comfortable folding of the ladder and firm anchoring of the individual parts.

The biggest advantage is, of course, the ability to extend the ladder, i.e. to extend the ladder when used as a freestanding ladder - both as a step ladder and as a supporting/inclined ladder. In both cases, it can be assembled in several parts. When folded, this makes it easier to move around the workplace, to transport by car and to store.

The individual parts

In this case, it is a separate 2-section connection piece without the stabilising bar, which can be assembled with the base piece and other parts to create a complete F-100 multifunction ladder. The 2-section ladder attachment part can therefore be added to the F-100 to create a complete model:

• the base part type F-105, which can also be combined with the short connection part FE-102 or FE-107 to create a separate ladder
• the long connection part type F-101, which can also be combined with the short connection part FE-102 or FE-103 to form a separate ladder
• connection platform - for the possibility of using the ladder as a stepladder, with simple and quick installation
• two-piece folding roof hook with wheels type F-120, which can be easily folded and stored - the wheels are used to easily slide the ladder up the wall using minimal force

Basic construction material and quality

The quality of the material and workmanship of the ladder will exceed your expectations. The entire ladder is made of high quality alloy aluminium (aluminium with various admixtures to achieve the required mechanical properties) from a specially designed double-sided welded design. The reinforced square rungs, up to 28 mm thick, have replaceable insulating plastic covers on them with an embossed surface design with anti-slip properties for even greater safety, stability and comfortable climbing, or to facilitate any standing on the ladder when working at any height. The rungs are welded into the milled beams to ensure a secure hold. Not a single detail or defect must be overlooked in the manufacture of the ladder.

Connecting technology

The rungs are welded to the beams using the CMT technique - a cold welding process to achieve the highest possible quality. Compared to conventional welding, CMT works with very little heat input and an extremely stable arc.

Weathering

By using high quality alloy aluminium material and careful processing/welding of the complete ladder structure, considerable resistance to weather conditions has been achieved. Thanks to the material properties, the ladder cannot rust even if it is left standing in direct rain or exposed to other water elements for long periods of time. There is thus no risk of damage or wear and tear.
