The ladder is manufactured and certified to comply with the European standard and the CSN EN 1147 standard with the German DIN 1 supplement.
European Standard EN 1147 specifies the requirements, test methods and design criteria for portable ladders for use by fire and rescue services and for similar purposes. The tests referred to in this European Standard are type tests, not periodic tests. Non-portable ladders for use by fire and rescue services are not covered by this standard.
DIN is a protected designation of German national technical standards. In the case of DIN 1, these are requirements for tapered pins - unforged.
The extension ladder is unique in its extension design with its exceptional ability to more than double its height.This particular model can be adjusted thanks to the rope control. This makes height adjustment automated and very simple. The extension via a pulley with plastic bearings, reduces friction to a minimum. Therefore, only less pulling force can be exerted when pulling out and handling and movement of parts is easier. The solid hollow guide brackets on the upper and lower parts are made in an extremely strong design. This ensures comfortable lowering of the ladder and stronger anchoring of the individual parts. It can be easily folded, making it easier to carry, transport and store.
One of the most interesting advantages are the practical spikes welded on the bottom of the feet of the auxiliary stabilizing bars and the ladder stands themselves. They allow a firm anchorage in any terrain, thus ensuring better stability and safer use.
Probably the biggest advantage is definitely the movable castors, which are installed as part of the ladder construction. They are used for easy and comfortable movement of the upper part of the ladder along the wall when extending and extending the ladder.
The quality of the material and workmanship of the ladder will exceed your expectations. The entire ladder is made of high quality alloy aluminium (aluminium with various admixtures to achieve the required mechanical properties) from a specially designed double-sided welded design. The rungs of reinforced 28mm square section are milled and permanently welded by CMT technology to the uprights, ensuring a completely safe ascent. They are fitted with removable and replaceable insulating treaded plastic caps, with anti-slip properties for even greater safety, stability and comfortable climbing or to facilitate any standing on the ladder when working at any height. Not a single detail or defect must be overlooked in the manufacture of the ladder.
The rungs are welded to the beams using CMT technology - a cold welding process to achieve the highest possible quality. Compared to conventional welding, CMT works with very little heat input and an extremely stable arc.
By using high quality alloy aluminium material and careful processing/welding of the complete ladder structure, considerable resistance to weather conditions has been achieved. Due to the material properties, the ladder cannot rust even if it is left standing in direct rain or exposed to other water elements for long periods of time. There is thus no risk of damage or wear and tear.
