This ladder with lightweight construction will be used especially by professionals in their work. The ladder is manufactured and certified to meet the British Standard and European Standard EN 1147.
European Standard EN 1147 sets out the requirements, test methods and design criteria for portable ladders for use by fire and rescue services and similar purposes. The tests specified in this European Standard are type tests, not periodic tests. Non-portable ladders for use by fire and rescue services are not covered by this standard.
The extension ladder is unique in its extension design with an exceptional ability to more than double its height. To lock the position when the individual parts are extended, manual aluminium safety anchors on the rungs are used to ensure that the individual parts remain connected during use. The hollow guide brackets on the upper and lower sections are made in an extremely strong design. This ensures comfortable lowering of the ladder and stronger anchoring of the individual parts. It can be practically folded, which makes it easier to carry, transport and store.
A significant advantage is the internal movable castors that are installed in the ladder stands. They serve for easy and convenient extension when extending the ladder.
The quality of the material and workmanship of the ladder will exceed your expectations. The entire ladder is made of high quality alloy aluminium (aluminium alloy to achieve the required mechanical properties). The reinforced square fire rungs with a diameter of up to 28 mm have a double-sided tread with anti-slip properties for even greater safety, stability and comfortable climbing, or to make it easier to stand on the ladder when working at any height, and are milled and permanently welded into the uprights using CMT technology, thus ensuring a secure hold. Not a single detail or defect can be overlooked in the manufacture of the ladder.
Connection technology
The rungs are welded to the beams using CMT technology - a cold welding process to achieve the highest quality. Compared to conventional welding, CMT works with very little heat input and an extremely stable arc.
By using high quality alloy aluminium material and careful processing/welding of the complete ladder structure, considerable resistance to weather conditions has been achieved. Due to the material properties, the ladder cannot rust even if it is left standing in direct rain or exposed to other water elements for long periods of time. There is thus no risk of damage or wear and tear.
