The ladder is manufactured and certified to comply with the European and Austrian standards and the ČSN EN 1147 standard with DIN Appendix 1 extension.
DIN is a protected designation of German national technical standards. In the case of DIN 1, this refers to the requirements for tapered pins - unforged.
European Standard EN 1147 specifies requirements, test methods and design criteria for portable ladders for use by fire and rescue services and similar purposes. The tests specified in this European Standard are type tests, not periodic tests. Non-portable ladders for use by fire and rescue services are not covered by this standard.
The multifunctional/combinable ladder is typical of its unique design for a variety of uses. It combines both a support ladder and a freestanding ladder (a connecting platform must be used to connect the 2 base parts or 2 base parts and 2 extension parts on top of the structure to form an A-shaped ladder). However, it can also be used due to its ability to be extended. In combination with the roof hook it will take the place of a roof ladder, in combination with the FG-106 platform as an emergency bridge or line for a hose/hose bridge or scaffolding. It is ideal for emergency vehicles with limited space capacity. It has the exceptional ability to be built up from multiple parts to achieve the desired height. Manually lockable steel safety anchor joints are used to secure the position when extended. They are manufactured in an extremely strong design. This ensures comfortable folding of the ladder and firm anchoring of the individual parts.
The biggest advantage is of course the ability to extend the ladder, i.e. to extend it, in the case of use as a freestanding ladder - a step ladder and as a supporting/inclined ladder. In both cases, it can be assembled in several parts. When folded, this makes it easier to move around the workplace, to transport by car and to store.
The quality of the material and workmanship of the ladder will exceed your expectations. The entire ladder is made of high-quality alloy aluminium (aluminium alloy to achieve the required mechanical properties) from a specially designed double-sided welded design. The reinforced square rungs, up to 28 mm thick, have replaceable insulating treaded plastic covers with anti-slip properties on them for even greater safety, stability and comfortable climbing, or to make it easier to stand on the ladder when working at any height. The rungs are milled and permanently welded with CMT technology to the uprights, ensuring a completely safe ascent. Not a single detail or defect can be overlooked in the manufacture of the ladder.
The rungs are welded to the beams using CMT technology - a cold welding process to achieve the highest possible quality. Compared to conventional welding, CMT works with very little heat input and an extremely stable arc.
By using high quality alloy aluminium material and careful processing/welding of the complete ladder structure, considerable resistance to weather conditions has been achieved. Due to the material properties, the ladder cannot rust even if it is left standing in direct rain or exposed to other water elements for long periods of time. There is thus no risk of damage or wear and tear.
